Fairy babies

I worked on this card for half the day! It really turned out GORGEOUS! I've tried editing it in PicMonkey and Picasa. But I really can't get the photo to look as good as it does in person. I'll show you:

This is how it looks when I edit it in Pic Monkey.

And this is how it looks when I edit it in Picasa. What do you think?

I'm entering this into the challenges at Shabby Tea Room, A Day for Daisies, Sentimental Sundays, and Atlantic Hearts. I hope I win, because this card took lots of money and lots of time! LOL!

Materials used:

  4. Very pretty. I hate it when I can't get a photo to show well even with editing, but good for you giving both Picasa and PicMonkey a try. Whoever gets this will be thrilled...and I hope you win, too. :)

  9. Okay, Sarah, you need to post a toot on that hand-made doily--delicious! I think the Pic Monkey (first version) edit looks better--it shows more depth. Editing can take as much time as the card, for me! Your card is absolutely beautiful. Love the soft colours, black-n-white image, the paper piercing....just lovely!

  10. Lovely Card. I really like all the little details. I find in Picassa when a picture is just not showing it's true colours that the "boost" feature can sometimes help with this. I too have spent hours trying to get a picture to look as good as the subject! Thank you for playing along with us at AHSC.
