Color Dare #87 with Ivy Lane

I am so ready for my baby to be born! My husband even took me for spicy food tonight to try to induce labor... didn't work (yet). Anyway, I am scheduled to be induced Monday, so I really don't have that much longer to wait.

I haven't been super creative lately, so for my Color Dare project this week, I just made the layout from the Ivy Lane WOTG.

I hope you'll come and join us this week at Color My Heart!

Materials used:
Cardstock: Ivy Lane Green, Ivy Lane Purple, Kraft, White Daisy
B&Ts: Ivy Lane
Stamps: Ivy Lane WOTG
Ink: Hollyhock, Bamboo, Desert Sand
Other: Artiste Cricut Cartridge, Ivy Lane Assortment, Purple Glitter Gems

Another Ariana card

Here's a card I made for:

The Pink Elephant - Ribbon, Green, Layers
H2H - Lucky
Deconstructed Sketch

deconstructed sketch no. 143
Materials used:
Cardstock: Colonial White
B&Ts: Ariana
Stamps: Sarita WOTG
Ink: Pear, Crystal Blue
Other: green ribbon (not CTMH)

Triple Trees

Here is a card for the triple challenge at H2H. Luck would have it that Less is More is also having a triple challenge! I used the sketch from Atlantic Hearts, using trees instead of mountains. I love the way these tree stamps look with the Ponderosa Pine.

Materials used:
Cardstock: Colonial White, Ponderosa Pine
Stamps: Always Grateful
Ink: Ponderosa Pine
Other: Cashmere Twill Ribbon, Kraft Borders

Sparkly Technique

I tried a new technique today, thanks to Mynnette's Technique Time Tuesday. It's called Caught in Crystal. It was pretty fun, especially since it works really well with these unicorn stamps! I'm entering this card into these challenges:

Technique Time Tuesday
Simon Says Stamp - Glitter
Mojo Monday
ColourQ

I'm sorry about the glare. It's there due to the transparency that the unicorn is stamped on. Hopefully you can see the fun glittery background behind the unicorn.

Materials used:
Cardstock: Whisper, White Daisy, Ariana Coral
B&Ts: Ariana
Stamps: Unicorn Dreams
Ink: Pacifica, Black StazOn, Crystal Blue
Other: Prisma Glitter, Claire Assortment, transparency & tissue paper (not CTMH)

Ariana for Christmas?

I love the way this card turned out! I made it for these two challenges:

Merry Monday
52 Christmas Card Throwdown

I used the pink and lime green paper from the Ariana paper pack, and I used the new CTMH quatrefoil embossing folder. I think it gives it a nice Christmas-y look.  The challenge at 52CCT was to use paper flowers, so I cut some poinsettias out with Art Philosophy and used the AP Celebration stamp on them. The holly leaves and the sentiment came from A Holiday. The sketch and color scheme are the 100th challenge at Merry Monday.

Materials used:
Cardstock: Ariana Coral, White Daisy
B&Ts: Ariana
Stamps: A Holiday, Art Philosophy Celebrations
Ink: Hollyhock, Pear
Other: Boutique Assortment, Quatrefoil Embossing Folder

Shabby Tea Room Guest Designer

I am so honored to have been asked to be the guest designer for the Shabby Tea Room this week. The theme is "anything goes," so since it's St. Patrick's Day today, I made a green St. Patrick's Day card! I used the pattern from CTMH's Make it From Your Heart Vol. 1, Pattern 25. The paper pack I used was Ivy Lane.

The inside says "... and may trouble be a stranger to you."

Materials used:
Cardstock: Colonial White, Ivy Lane Green
B&Ts: Ivy Lane
Stamps: Take a Picture, Pair-a-Phrase, Card Word Puzzle
Ink: Topiary, Chocolate Distressing Ink
Other: adhesive pearls (not CTMH)

Please come play along with us for the "anything goes" challenge at the Shabby Tea Room!

Color Dare 85 with Boom-di-ada!

It's been a while since I posted. I am in full blown nesting mode, so I've been trying to get ready for the baby. It really cuts into everything else, so my crafting time has all but gone out the window. But I made myself sit down and make this layout last night.

The colors for Color My Heart this week are Barn Red, Autumn Terracotta, Olive, and Hollyhock. Here is my layout using the retired paper pack Boom-di-ada:

I used the Miracle Irresistables chipboard to embellish. I will have to add my title when I decide what pictures to put on this layout.

Come play along with us this week!

Materials used:
Cardstock: Colonial White, Olive, Barn Red
B&Ts: Boom-di-Ada
Ink: Hollyhock, Olive, Barn Red, Autumn Terracotta
Other: Just Blooms paper Flowers, Miracle Irresistables
