Color My Heart #51 with CAS(E) This Sketch

I was having fun making cards yesterday. You can click below to see the previous post to see a couple of other ones I made. This one is for the Bamboo/Desert Sand challenge at Color My Heart. We were to pick one color to complement the neutrals. I chose Pear:

 
The sketch is from CAS(E) This Sketch, and I cased this card from Gayatri, one of the DT members. I used the circle segments from the Chantilly WOTG scrapbooking stamp set.

Materials used:
Cardstock: Bamboo, Desert Sand, White Daisy
Stamps: Chantilly Scrapbooking WOTG
Ink: Pear, Desert Sand

    Love the bold pear color choice. It really pops up from the Desert Sand background. You make me want to take that stamp set out to play with! Thanks for the inspiration1

    Totally wanted to use green...it just doesn't like me for some reason. I pull it out, stare at it, stare at it some more, and then put it away for something else. Like Marie said, the Pear totally pops on this. Love it. Jealous that Pear likes you better than it likes me. ;)
