"Herd" it's your birthday...

This is a cute, fun card I made for 4 challenges. I love it when everything just comes together nicely. I love how this card turned out!

Shabby Tea Room - follow the inspiration photo; use blue, white and kraft, and include a sentiment.
Mojo monday - sketch
Heart2Heart - pun fun
Rose Blossom Garden - use the "happy birthday" key on Artiste

This card really got me thinking outside of my box. I knew I wanted to use that cow, but the "happy birthday" key kind of threw me for a loop. I have been wanting to use that balloon, so I went with the "Herd it's your birthday" sentiment on the stamp set. I LOVED the colors from the Shabby Tea Room inspiration photo, so I decided to make this card "cutesy" with the doily, and leaving the cow uncolored. I love Moonstruck, and it's been sitting around, so I really wanted to use it. Then I had to find some Moonstruck pattern paper. I found a swatch of Superhero, and used the star pattern - perfect for a birthday card! I wanted to follow the sketch, so I used brads from the Outdoor Denim Mini Medleys, and just a touch of shimmer trim. I did flip the sketch, so I could put the balloon on top.

Materials used:
Cardstock: Kraft, Moonstruck, White Daisy
B&Ts: Superhero
Stamps: Howdy
Ink: Moonstruck, Desert Sand
Other: Silver Shimmer Trim, Outdoor Denim Mini Medleys, Artiste Cricut cartridge, doily - Wilton (not CTMH)

  4. So cute ... very midwestern (my Grampa was a North Dakota dairy farmer). I like the doily along with the cow. It reminds everyone that she's a girl!!
