I googled a way to use this stamp set and paper on a card, and I found a really pretty one, but now I don't remember whose it was. Mine is very similar. The challenge at
Opus-Gluei is to use a bycicle. I have not used the La Belle Vie stamp set yet, so I thought it was time to break it in. I love it because it has an eifel tower, a gorgeous lamp post, and this lovely bicycle! I used the sketch from
Sweet Sundays:
I stamped the bike in desert sand, and the sentiment in Smokey plum. The flowers were colored in with the gypsy marker and a dab of silver Glitz glitter gel was put in the middle of each flower. I used the zip strip for the vertical strip. The circle panel was edged with the edge distresser, then sponged in desert sand. I think that is a great effect that goes well with the touch of burlap and the textured horizontal strip.

The color is subdued by absolutely striking and the texture of the burlap is a great element. What an absolutely lovely card you've made here - I'm so glad you found our Opus Gluei theme and decided to try it out! Thank you for sharing this beauty.
