Technique Time Tuesday
Sweet Sketch Wednesday
I saw that top from Runway inspired and thought "I have the perfect paper for that." It's from the Chantilly paper pack. I also used plain buttercup cardstock to mimic the color of her skirt. The colors from colourQ were also perfect for the runway challenge. I used yellow as my main color, of course, but, using the water stamping technique, I sponged my cardstock in Sorbet, Blush, and Buttercup - my take on calypso coral, blushing bride, and daffodil delight. I thought the water stamping technique also was perfect for the watercolor-style background of the RIC photo! I used a bit of Cocoa with the brads and sentiment to pull the soft suede into the mix.
