52CCT April Technique - Punch Art!

HI! Welcome! This week at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown we are having a technique challenge. This one is new to me - punch art! I love these challenges because it requires me to try things I may not have done before, but have been wanting to try.

So I asked my husband what cute little animal I should make, and he said a wolf. A wolf?!?! When someone gives me a challenge like that, I just have to accept it. :) So I googled Christmas wolves and found this little guy:

So I took the challenge, and I used my Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to make this little guy:

I hope you'll try some punch art and come play along with us at 52{C}CT!
Materials used:
Cardstock: Grey Wool, Grey Flannel, White Daisy, Cranberry
Stamps: Very Merry Christmas
Ink: Cranberry, Grey Wool
Markers: Black, Cranberry
Other: Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, silver gel pen (not CTMH)

  1. Christmas wolves!!! I think you're husband was having a joke. However, I think you won! I love this card - your little wolf really is cute. Such a great idea!

  2. You did a terrific job on your punch art wolf Sarah. I'm sure glad I didn't ask my husband that same question - it's hard to tell what he might have said and I don't think I would have been as up to the task as you were in completing it. It's really awesome - great job.

  3. Well, you certainly rose to that challenge! I hope that your husband is IN AWE of your creativity because this card is fantastically original. Love it, your Christmas wolf is brilliant!

    Louise xx

  4. Good for you for showing your husband that YES you CAN create a Christmas wolf!!! You did a super job with him! I like the swirling snowflakes around him, too. High fives to you for your creativity here! :)

  5. Hallo Sarah
