Sunshine Fun!

Here is another card I made yesterday. But before I show it to you, I want to share the newest member of our family. His name is Pepper Jack and he's 7 weeks old. He's the sweetest little thing!

The card is for Double Trouble and I used the sketch from CAS Colors and Sketches. The colors are Sorbet, Glacier, and Nutmeg for Color My Heart Color Dare. And for Double Trouble, I did the twisted sister challenge and added string. My white was Colonial White. I am the original creator of the Color My Heart Dare, and I really don't even remember if Colonial White is ok to use! I think so since white is allowed and Colonial White has "white" in the name. So I think I'm good. If not, someone please tell me.

I used the Seaside paperpack and complements for this card. The brown was Desert Sand, which is my substitute for Nutmeg, since I don't have it yet.

Materials used:
Cardstock: Colonial White
B&Ts: Seaside
Other: Seaside Complements, Glacier thick Twine

  1. Between the shell images and the wood plank background of the polka dotted paper, your card does a super job of making me think of the beach. :) Thanks for sharing it with us at CC&S!
