Memorial Day Card

I had 4 challenges and I was trying to figure out how to get them all to fit into 1 card. The first is a sketch from Deconstructing Jen. The second is an inspiration photo from Inspired By. The third is a color challenge from the Play Date Cafe. And the fourth is a man challenge and to use patterned paper from CAS-ual Fridays.

Deconstructed Sketch No. 53

So, here's what I came up with:
I kept thinking the apron picture was so girly, so how could I make a guy card out of that? But then the man apron idea came to me. CAS-ual Fridays requires a clean and simple project; this one's clean, but not too simple. But I just couldn't resist this apron! I saw the idea from Jayma Malme. And Cherry-O was perfect for the color challenge :)

Materials used:
Paper: Cherry-O; Sky, Outdoor Denim and Colonial White cardstock
Stamps: With Love
Ink: Cranberry, Desert Sand, and Outdoor Denim
Embellishments: Cranberry Brads, Outdoor Denim Ribbon, Colonial White Floss, buttons from my stash
Cricut cartridges: Art Philosophy, Designer's Calendar, George and basic shapes
