Mother's Day set for Monday Challenges

Today's Monday. I had made 3 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cards using Dotty for You. The challenges today are Mojo Monday, Heart2Heart, The Pink Elephant, and the Shabby Tea Room. I decided to make a Mother's Day set with my 3 cards, so I needed 1 more. I used the Mojo Monday sketch to make a Mother's day card - Mother was the theme for the Pink Elephant and Heart2Heart. The Shabby Tea Room challenge was a color challenge with an inspiration photo and we had to use a Rose. Here is the photo:

Materials used:
Paper: Colonial White CS, Dotty for You
Stamps: Wonderland WOTG
Ink: Smoothie
Other: Sweet Leaf Ribbon
The Rose was made by cutting out 3 layers of 3 roses on the Dotty for You rose pattern and adhering them with pop dots.
I made the Fry Box to hold the cards to showcase our Art philosophy collection at a gathering I'm conducting tonight.

  1. What a creative way to use the roses from Dotty - very FUNN! Using the tea cup for a vase is a cute idea, too. What a lovely gift and thanks for sharing on H2H!

  2. Love your collection of cards! Great idea to put the rose in the cup! Thanks for playing with us at H2H!

  3. What a lovely card set! I really like the idea of the rose in a tea cup. I am going to have to try this. ;) Thanks for sharing with us at H2H!

  4. Very pretty... all of them...
