2 Types of Cards

My first card is a Clean and Simple card. I'm pretty good at those, because they're the only ones I ever make.  I try to make it ornate, or fancy, or heavily embellished, but it always turns out clean and simple. Well, for this one, that's okay. Simon Says has a CAS challenge today. I used the Freshly Made sketch and the colors from Color Throwdown.

Materials Used:
Paper: White Daisy, Juniper, Sorbet cardstock
Stamps: With Love
Ink: Juniper, Blush, Hollyhock, Sorbet
Other: Juniper Ribbon

For my second card, I really tried REALLY hard to make a fancy, ornate card. How did I do?
This is the Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch (rotated) and the word art is from Word Art Wednesday.

I tried to use the color pallete from Sweet Sketch Wednesday too. What would you have done differently? I like it, but it's not exactly what I was going for. Somebody give me some pointers! Thanks.

Materials used:
Paper: Elemental B&T, Olive, Baby Pink, Petal, Gypsy and White cardstock
Stamp: Universal Backgrounds
Ink: Desert Sand, Petal
Other: Bohemian Assortment, Pewter Medley Accents, Heirloom Assortment, Opaque Pearls, Pretty Pins, Sheer Ribbon (not CTMH), Border Punch (MS)
