52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown March Embellishment Challenge

It's ribbons and bows this week at 52{C}CT! I was trying to decide what to do, and I thought of 2 things I've been wanting to try, so I combined them. The first is to use my new bird embossing folder, the second is to use my cherished red gingham ribbon. (It's my FAVORITE!) I'm so sorry it's hard to see the embossing in the picture:

We'd love for you to come and join us this week at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown!

Materials used:
Cardstock: White Daisy, Sky
Stamps: Very Merry Christmas
Ink: Tulip
Other: Red Ribbon Assortment, Cuttlebug embossing folder (not CTMH)

  1. Your stunning bow finishes off your card perfectly - Jacqueline xx

  2. I love the simplicity of the design with the pretty embossed image and sweet gingham bow! Fab!

  3. That is a gorgeous embossing folder and the bow is the perfect accent. The white and red is fab. Love your card, Sarah

    Louise xx

  4. GORGEOUS embossing folder; this card is perfect--simple and lovely but I could see doing some subtle chalking, or gold or silver high-lighting on darker'll be able to use it a TON for Xmas cards this year.
BTW, how did you create your cool watermark?

    1. Mynnette made it for me. Isn't it nice? Thanks for your comments, Caroline!

  5. I absolutely love this! Fabulous use of dry embossing--I can totally see it all! LOVE that ribbon, too! HUGS, friend! :)

  6. It is hard to make a white embossed card show up good in a photo - but I can sure see how gorgeous this is Sarah! I love that darling bird and your bow is the perfect touch.

  7. Beautiful card Sarah, I love the crisp white embossing with the blue and pop of red! Gorgeous gingham too! Ruth x
