Color Dare #175

I feel like at the end of the year and beginning of a new year I am so behind on my scrapbooking if I don't have that year's album done, so I scramble to finish. Right now, I'm in that scramble. I'm making lots of progress, and I'm thankful for the weekend to work on it.

This week at Color My Heart, we are challenged to use Glacier with Silver and White Daisy. During my scrapbooking marathon, I came to these pictures, and I thought they fit nicely with the colors, even though they are summer pictures. So I made layout 9 from MIFYH volume 1 using what I thought was Glacier paper from the new Penelope paper pack. It turns out it was Crystal Blue, but hey, close enough!

It's hard to tell from the lighting, but that dark paper is actually silver glitter paper.

Come join us this week at Color My Heart!

Materials used:
Cardstock: White Daisy, Silver Glitter Paper
B&Ts: Penelope
Other: Irresistables Chipboard Alphabet, Pearl Opaques Flourishes, Clear Sparkles, Grey Epoxy Bubbles, Antiqued Silver Metal Flowers, Silver Shimmer Brads, Petals Just Blooms

  4. Great layout...love the number of pictures you got on your layout and your embellishments...I like the white bead flourishes and flower. I have the same problem with photographing glitter.
