Today I found some challenges: I liked the purple Christmas card from CASE-ing Christmas, and I thought it would go nicely with the embossing folder stamping technique at Friday Mashup.
I used the technique for the purple and blue banner panel. Here is my card:
I was looking for something to go where the big flower is, and I found these old blue flower dies made from old textured cardstock (I don't even know what color they are!). So I embossed them, filed them, and inked them to fit my card. I used a bling gem from La Belle Vie for the center. For the banner, I used Gypsy and Moonstruck inks and some homemade shimmer mist. I took this picture in direct (afternoon) sunlight so you could see the shimmer, so... sorry about the shadows!
Here is the inspiration card:
Materials used:
Cardstock: Gypsy, White Daisy
Stamps: Countdown
Ink: Gypsy, Moonstruck
Other: La Belle Vie Assortment, Blue Flower Die Cuts, Create-a-Shade Pearl Paint, Swiss Dot embossing folder (Cuttlebug, not CTMH)
