Bee Yourself

I found a little bit of time today, and I had some creative mojo, so I played in some of my favorite Saturday challenges to make this card. It is for:

I made it CAS per the challenge requirements at Less is More - the theme is "hexagons." So I used my honeycomb stamp set to make the strip at the bottom. To make it more CAS - I used stamping instead of paper for the strip at the bottom and for the main oval. I used a stencil I made to stamp the flowers and sponged around it to bring out the oval. I used Sweet Leaf ric-rac for the top strip. I also matted the banner in Sweet Leaf as well as popping it up with foam tape to bring it out. The option at Dynamic Duos was to use plants, so I pulled out my new June SOTM and used the wild flowers as my green plants. I love the "Uniquely You" sentiment on the SOTM set, but it was just too big, so I used the small petite perks "Bee Yourself" sentiment instead. It gets the same message across, but it also ties in the bee/honeycomb theme. I added the wooden bee just to set it firm. From the 3 lists at OCC, I used ribbon from list A, wood from list B, and ink from list C. I made this card girly with the flowers and sentiment for the spin at the Sweet Stop.
