This week at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown, we are challenging you to do an acrylic block background technique. I chose to use the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch for my card. I inked the block in Holiday Red and sprayed it with my stamp cleaner for that speckled effect. Then I just drew a border inside with a black marker.
Materials used:
Cardstock: White Daisy
B&Ts: Believe
Stamps: To You and Yours
Ink: Holiday Red, Sky, Sweet Leaf
Other: Black Marker
Very pretty card, Sarah! I love your acrylic block stamped background with the CAS(E) this sketch sketch. I will have to try this technique soon!

I really like the dappled effect you've got on your card. I also like the way you've defined the stamped block with the border. Lovely card!

ReplyDeleteSo sorry I'm late with my comment, Sarah, but this is such a stunning way to use the technique-love that the print takes centre stage. The border is a perfect touch, love your very trendy Christmas card, hope you enjoyed the challenge
