52CCT Oct. Color Challenge

This week at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, the color challenge is to use any colors except red and green. I challenged myself to use the colors from Colour Q this week. I am also entering this card at

I used orange, black, yellow and blue for this card. I was inspired to use black by the "little black dress" inspiration challenge. The colors I used are Autumn Terracotta, Honey, and Lagoon. I used silver embossing powder and a magazine page for the faux cloisonné challenge.


Materials used:
Cardstock: White Daisy, Black, Honey, Autumn Terracotta
Stamps: Believe WOTG, Single Snowflake
Ink: VersaMark, Black
Other: doily (not CTMH), Silver Shimmer Trim, magazine (not CTMH)

    Hi Sarah, you were so brave in choosing to make a Christmas card with those colours, I would have found that far too daunting! That snowflake is so lovely and worked so well for the faux cloisonne technique! Have a great week, Ruth x
