That rhymes. :) Here is the layout I made using this week's challenge colors - Honey, Indian Corn Blue, Topiary, and Cranberry. I used Jubilee paper pack and level 2 complements. I really am a sucker for this country look! I think I'd do my whole house up like this if I could!
The layout is Juggling Act from Magic. I have yet to put a title on it because I'm not sure which pictures I'm using.

Color Dare 102 with Twitterpated
It's time for another Color Dare! This week we are challenging you to use Indian Corn Blue, Sorbet, and Sweet Leaf. I used the Twitterpated pack. The blue isn't quite Indian Corn Blue (I actually used Dutch Blue for the base page) but that's okay sometimes. If you don't have the exact color, just use a similar color. My layout is Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 pattern 5.

More Balloons
Here is a card I made inspired by one on pg. 39 of the current Idea Book. I've been having fun making some of the projects from this book before the new one comes out! I also am entering it into these challenges:
Freshly Made Sketch
Color Throwdown
Word Art Wednesday
Simon Says - Dots and Spots
Instead of using the suggested stamp set (which I don't have), I fussy cut a balloon out of the "hero" paper, and used the Live Out Loud set for the sentiment. I put the verse from WAW on the inside.
Materials used:
Cardstock: Whisper, Colonial White, Sorbet
B&Ts: Balloon Ride
Complements: Balloon Ride
Stamps: Live Out Loud
Ink: Saddle
Other: Chocolate Baker's Twine, Clear Sparkles

Teddy Bear Picnic...
Yesterday I found some challenges. The first was at Less is More to make some fingerprint art. I thought it would be cute to make a teddy bear. Then I went to Crazy 4 Challenges and their challenge was to make a project with a teddy bear on it! Isn't that serendipitous? (I've been wanting to use that word.) I found a sketch at Nacho Average Challenge that worked well (my first time playing there), and the colors from colourQ were the same as the inspiration photo at the Pink Elephant. After I finished making this card, I had to go take dinner to a lady who had a baby boy. The card was perfect, so I gave it to her (but not before I took a picture). Also serendipitous, don't you think?
I used Goldrush ink for the teddy bear. I used my index finger to make the body and the head and my pinky finger to make the arms and legs, but my fingers were to small to make the ears, so I used the baby's finger (she's 3 months old now). Isn't that cute?
Materials used:
Cardstock: Pacifica, Tulip, Goldrush, Lagoon, White Daisy
Stamps: You are My Happy Alphabet
Ink: Goldrush, Tulip, Lagoon, Pacifica
Other: journaling pen (not CTMH)

Balloon Rides
Here's a card I started making for 3 challenges. I had a hard time at first. I was trying to make the zip strip sentiments fit on the front, but I just couldn't get them to look right. Then I took some time away from it, went to see Maleficent at the theater with a friend, then came back to it and knew exactly what it needed. The chipboard shape from the Balloon Ride complements ties in perfectly with the chipboard polka dots, the blue of the background paper, and the brown of the bronze shimmer trim.
The challenges are:
Mojo Monday - sketch
Shabby Tea Room - Polka Dots and Flowers
Heart 2 Heart - Up, up, and away
I love that balloon from the "hero" paper; it is so elegant! The die cut really coordinates well with it! I was looking for a flower in my stash, and I accidentally created a sunflower with paper flowers and a bronze designer brad. I liked it so much, and it fit nicely with the shimmer trim and the creme brulee in the paper, that I just decided to go ahead and use it (even though I was looking for a peony).
Materials used:
Cardstock: Colonial White, Baby Pink
B&Ts: Balloon Ride
Complements: Balloon Ride
Other: On Target Dimensional Elements, Antiqued Bronze Designer Brads, Paradise Just Blooms Paper Shapes, Bronze Shimmer Trim, Scallop Border Punch

It's Sunday
The Sunday challenges looked like fun today. There were two color challenges, so I ended up using the same sketch to make two cards. I was excited that I could use the same paper packet for both. The first color combo was red, white, and blue, and the second was green, blue, and grey. I used the same blue from the Jubilee pack for both cards, then I used the red gingham with Colonial White for the second card, and the green bandanna paper with Slate for the first card. Here are the challenges:
Sweet Sunday Sketch
Order of the Opus Gluei - ribbon/string/twine
Sunday Stamps - Indian Corn Blue, Topiary, and Slate
Pile It On - Flowers
Sentimental Sundays - Red, white, and blue
I really love the country look. I haven't really gotten to work with Jubilee yet, but this is my favorite paper packet out of the whole Spring/Summer Idea Book! I used the Dimensional Elements Complements instead of stamps for my sentiments. Which one do you like better?
Materials used:
Cardstock: Colonial White, Slate
B&Ts: Jubilee
Complements: Jubilee
Other: Just Blooms Floret Paper Shapes, Neutral Baker's Twine Assortment, Red Brad Assortment, Green Button Assortment

Christmas Blog Hop
I found this blog hop at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. They have 4 challenges that you can choose from. But I decided to choose all four (you know me, I can't pick just one challenge)! I made a square vintage card with 2 buttons, used 3 shades of pink and 2 shades of green, used the sketch (with a Santa instead of the tree), and I used my stickers.
When I hear "vintage" I think Mistletoe. I have a lot of Mistletoe paper left, but the Santa and the tag are my last stickers from the kit. I've never paired it with pink before, but I think I like it. I used baby pink for the cardstock and a blush button. The greens are New England Ivy and Sweet Leaf.
Materials used:
Cardstock: Baby Pink
B&Ts: Mistletoe
Stickease: Mistletoe
Markers: New England Ivy
Other: Pink, Green, and Holiday Buttons Assortments, Color Ready Seam Binding Ribbon

A Dakota Card
I had a big challenge trying to combine today's challenges, but I think it turned out great. Here is what I had to work with:
Less is More: CAS with earth tones
Crazy for Challenges: Red, White and Blue
Our Creative Corner: Homemade flowers with Hand-dyed ribbon
Retro Sketches: an old sketch that I made this card with (it's the second one in the post)
Here's what I came up with:
I minimized the layers a bit to give it some white space. I used Barn Red ink for the red, but an earthier red - almost brown. I dyed my seam binding ribbon with a barn red alcohol marker. My flowers were made using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, and sponged with Barn Red ink. I think they look like thistles.

Happy fourth of July! (early)
Here is the third card I made last night. I loved this card from Jen at ColourQ, so I cased it using CTMH products. I used the sketch from the Shabby Tea Room.
Materials used:
Cardstock: White Daisy, Bamboo, Pacifica
Stamps: American Celebration, Love Life, Home of the Brave

Christmas in July
Here is a second card I made last night. The challenge at Merry Monday is to make a "white on white" Christmas card, and only your sentiment can be silver. So I used the sketch at Mojo Monday and made the layers only white cardstock. I embossed the main panel with Close to My Heart Damask embossing folder.
I made this card 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches for the "tall & skinny" challenge at Mojo Monday. I hung the two round panels off the edge just a little bit. And it will still fit in an A2 envelope. The sentiment was embossed with silver embossing powder and the partridges were stamped with Slate.
Materials used:
Cardstock: White Daisy
Stamps: Pear & Partridge Card WOTG
Ink: Versamark, Slate
Other: Silver Embossing Powder, Just Blooms Paper Flowers, Bulk Glitter Buttons, Damask Embossing Folder
