Angels
Here's an interesting card I made. It's a little different style for me, but I love the outcome. I didn't have any angel stamps, so I found one on vintage printables dot com. The challenge at Our Creative Corner is ABC: Angels, Buttons, and Chipboard. I used a chipboard frame decorated with buttons. I used the sketch at the Sweet Stop. The colors are from the Color Throwdown. I'm also entering this into the challenge at Crazy4Challenges - put a bow on it.

Manger card for RIC
I was inspired by the Runway Inspired Challenge to make this card. I know you're probably thinking "how can this card be inspired by those dresses?" Well, let me tell you. At first, I was drawn to the cross on the back of the second dress, and I was thinking I'd just make a black sillhouette of a cross. But I really wanted it to be a Christmas card and I wanted Jesus to be prominent, so I made a black sillhouette of a manger scene - still Jesus. I really liked the splotches of red, yellow and blue on the dresses too, so I decided to tie those in with the yellow star and the blue and red words. So there you have it.

Place Cards
I haven't posted in a few days. My Thanksgiving was so exhausting that I've been vegging for 3 days straight! I made some cards yesterday, but didn't feel blogging them. But I made these place cards on Thanksgiving day. Even though it made me run a little late, I'm so glad I made them. They added just the right touch, and it was less awkward than telling our guests where they needed to sit!
These are for the CASE study challenge:

I love glitter
Here is another Christmas card. I've been making a lot lately. This one is for Merry Monday, Heart2Heart, and the Shabby Tea Room.
This card is so sparkly with glitter, but you can't tell in the photo. :( I wish I knew how to photograph so the glitter would show up more! The challenge at the Shabby Tea Room was a tic-tac-toe.
I did stitching, embossing and glitter and ribbon. Hmm... I think I didn't look closely enough before, because that does not make a row! I guess I could add some buttons or gems and it would work. I wonder if I'll be penalized if I don't. I guess I'll find out. Anyway, I thought the row was glitter, ribbon, and embossing. I wanted to do stitching, but I took my stitch stamp and embossed it around the edges with my Cranberry embossing powder. That way it would count as embossing, but still look like stitching. :) Here is the inspiration photo:
I saw that ice skate, and remembered a sticker I had from a couple years ago. I think it works perfectly.
Here is the Merry Monday sketch:
Heart2Heart has a Christmas theme this week.
Materials used:
B&Ts: Mistletoe
Cardstock: Cocoa

Black Tie
I made a Christmas card for some challenges, one new one called Black Tie Fridays. I think the gist of it is that you have to use black in your project. Their challenge this week is to make something black and white and use a cut-out. I also took inspiration from 52 Christmas Card Throwdown - to use a Scripture verse on your card, and Order of the Opus Gluei - to make something 3-D. I finally had a reason to break out my pop up cards and cut-out words on my new Cricut Artiste cartridge! I gotta tell you, you can make some fabulous things with that cartridge!

Stamps: Glory to God!, Chocolate Alphabet - Small

Tag
It took me a while to figure out what to do for these 3 challenges. I wanted to combine them, but just kept coming up blank. But I looked at Less is More, and took my inspiration from the name of the challenge. So I didn't put much on my tag.
Crazy 4 Challenges - make a tag
Our Creative Corner - use the alcohol ink on foil technique
Less is More - use hardware
Materials used:
Cardstock: White Daisy
Stamps: Annotations
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (not CTMH)
Alcohol Markers: Ponderosa Pine (light)
Other: Red Glitz Glitter Gel, Cranberry ribbon, Photo Hangar, Aluminum Foil (not CTMH)

Retro Duos
I made a card for RetroSketches and DynamicDuos. I really loved the inspiration this week! Here is my card:
I had fun with this one. I mixed some of my white glitter with my clear embossing powder, not sure what it would do. Then I embossed some snowflakes, each one unique, with the sparkly embossing powder. I didn't think it showed up at first, but it really sparkles in the sunlight. I took this picture in direct sunlight so you could see the snowflakes when you click on the picture. I used my new embossing pen for the first time on the snowman's hat, thinking that it would set clear. But it stayed blue. Luckily it matched, so I didn't make a do-over, but it's not what I intended. Bob Ross would call it a happy accident. I also embossed the sentiment with the sparkly powder.
Materials used:
B&Ts: Wonderland
Cardstock: Black, White Daisy, Twilight
Stamps: Very Merry Christmas, Pair-a-Phrase
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black (not CTMH), Twilight, White Daisy
Other: Blending Pen, Embossing Pen, Clear Detail Embossing Powder, White Glitter (not CTMH)

Day for Daisies Fall Card
I made this card for the color challenges at A Day for Daisies and Frosted Designs. The sketch is from I Spy Sketches.
The color challenges reminded me of Olivia. So I added a bit of Cocoa to mat the elements, and it worked perfectly! Here is the inside:

Freshly Made and Color Throwdown
Here is a card I made using Wonderland and the Icing Overlays. I thought the colors were close enough to the Color Throwdown Challenge. I used the sketch from Freshly Made.
Here's the inside:
I interpreted the SU colors to be these CTMH colors: Cocoa, Twilight, Desert Sand, and Heavenly Blue. I would have used Lagoon instead of Twilight, but it's a little too bright, I think.
Materials used:
B&T: Wonderland
Cardstock: Cocoa, Desert Sand, White Daisy
Stamp: Everlasting Life
Ink: Cocoa
Other: Silver Shimmer Trim, Clear Sparkles, Glitter Brads, Icing Overlays, Art Philosophy cricut cartridge
