Color My Heart 115 with Lucky

Our challenge for this week at Color My Heart is to use Outdoor Denim, Olive, and Sunset. I used the Lucky paper pack and CASEd a layout from the previous Idea Book. The layout is MIFYH vol. 2 Pattern 15 (left page). It is on page 106 of the spring/summer 2014 Idea Book. I am going to put pictures of my "car-crazy" 3-year old son on here. He just had his birthday, and those pictures might be perfect for this page!

Color Dare 114 with Dreamin'

Our colors for our dare at Color My Heart are the same as in the retired Dreamin' paper pack: Pacifica, Crystal Blue, Goldrush, and Honey. I used the paper pack to create this layout of my husband and son wearing matching shirts. The layout is the right page of Timeline from Imagine.

Color Dare 113 with Let's Get Together

This week at Color My Heart we're challenging you to use Cranberry, Canary, and Glacier on your project. I used the paper pack Let's Get Together to make a layout. This pack contained Garden Green and Breeze in addition to Cranberry and Buttercup, but I left out the green and substituted a sheet of Glacier cardstock for the Breeze.

I know, these are funny pictures, but my kids and I were just having fun one day comparing our feet, so I grabbed my camera and snapped some photos! It was fun. I was surprised at how well this paper pack matched these pictures, too!

I was inspired by the orange, purple, beige, and white colors on the shoe Inspiration from Runway Inspired. I used Smokey Plum, Sunset, and Sweet Leaf colors from CTMH for the suggested SU colors. I put liquid glass over the big "B." The sticker is from the retired Buzz & Bumble pack.

Pink Frosted Scandinavian Christmas

Okay, so I wanted to play along with some challenges today, and here's what I had to work with:

So, I thought the big rounded shape in the sketch looked a little like a house, so I used the house stamp in the Scandinavian wishes set. I cut it out with Art Philosophy. My song inspiration is "Joy to the World." And I tried to leave some "white space" on the card. The chimney smoke is from Wonderland WOTG and the music notes are from Sweet Music. The colors I used are Hollyhock and Blush with Colonial White. The smoke is stamped in Desert Sand.

Color Dare 111 with Elemental

It's been a while since I posted. I've been a little unmotivated lately. I made this layout a while back, but today I put the finishing touches - title, embellishment, journaling- on it. The color dare at Color My Heart this week is

Cranberry, Sorbet, Olive, Lagoon, and Pacifica.

The layout is based on Sampler-Pieced from Reflections. I used the Elemental paper pack which included those colors. It also included Creme Brulee. Creme Brulee is retired now, so I left that one out. My layout has pictures from my husbands birthday this year:
