Color Dare 112 with Lollydoodle

Our color dare this week is Cotton Candy, Sorbet, Pear, and Juniper. I used the Lollydoodle paper pack and stickease to make this simple layout:

I was inspired by the orange, purple, beige, and white colors on the shoe Inspiration from Runway Inspired. I used Smokey Plum, Sunset, and Sweet Leaf colors from CTMH for the suggested SU colors. I put liquid glass over the big "B." The sticker is from the retired Buzz & Bumble pack.

Pink Frosted Scandinavian Christmas

Okay, so I wanted to play along with some challenges today, and here's what I had to work with:

So, I thought the big rounded shape in the sketch looked a little like a house, so I used the house stamp in the Scandinavian wishes set. I cut it out with Art Philosophy. My song inspiration is "Joy to the World." And I tried to leave some "white space" on the card. The chimney smoke is from Wonderland WOTG and the music notes are from Sweet Music. The colors I used are Hollyhock and Blush with Colonial White. The smoke is stamped in Desert Sand.

Color Dare 111 with Elemental

It's been a while since I posted. I've been a little unmotivated lately. I made this layout a while back, but today I put the finishing touches - title, embellishment, journaling- on it. The color dare at Color My Heart this week is

Cranberry, Sorbet, Olive, Lagoon, and Pacifica.

The layout is based on Sampler-Pieced from Reflections. I used the Elemental paper pack which included those colors. It also included Creme Brulee. Creme Brulee is retired now, so I left that one out. My layout has pictures from my husbands birthday this year:

Color Dare 106 with Wings

Our colors over at Color My Heart are Juniper and Sweet Leaf this week. I used the back sides of some of the papers from the Wings kit, which also contained Vineyard Berry. I kind of like it with just the greens, even though a pop of berry would not look bad. This is a level 3 layout, which means I actually used stamps and ink on this one!

Color Dare 104 with For Always

Here is the color combo for this week at Color My Heart: Lagoon, Ruby, and Honey. I like how my layout turned out because I used black and white as my main colors and I just used little pops here and there of the challenge colors. This is Make It From Your Heart Vol. 1 pattern 7. The paper pack is For Always, and I used up the rest of my For Always Stickease. I am attending a wedding tomorrow (my pastor's son), and I might put pictures of their wedding on this layout.
