2 Types of Cards

My first card is a Clean and Simple card. I'm pretty good at those, because they're the only ones I ever make.  I try to make it ornate, or fancy, or heavily embellished, but it always turns out clean and simple. Well, for this one, that's okay. Simon Says has a CAS challenge today. I used the Freshly Made sketch and the colors from Color Throwdown.

Materials Used:
Paper: White Daisy, Juniper, Sorbet cardstock
Stamps: With Love
Ink: Juniper, Blush, Hollyhock, Sorbet
Other: Juniper Ribbon

For my second card, I really tried REALLY hard to make a fancy, ornate card. How did I do?
This is the Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch (rotated) and the word art is from Word Art Wednesday.

I tried to use the color pallete from Sweet Sketch Wednesday too. What would you have done differently? I like it, but it's not exactly what I was going for. Somebody give me some pointers! Thanks.

Materials used:
Paper: Elemental B&T, Olive, Baby Pink, Petal, Gypsy and White cardstock
Stamp: Universal Backgrounds
Ink: Desert Sand, Petal
Other: Bohemian Assortment, Pewter Medley Accents, Heirloom Assortment, Opaque Pearls, Pretty Pins, Sheer Ribbon (not CTMH), Border Punch (MS)

Family

Here is my last card for the night (probably.) I used my newest stamp set - Family Love. It's a good one. The sketch is from Cards & Things and the Colors are for Cr84FN color challenge.

Materials Used:
Paper: White (not ctmh), Juniper, and Dutch Blue cardstock
Stamp: Family Love
Ink: Juniper
Other: White Daisy Brads

Wednesday...

Tomorrow's Wednesday, so I'm getting these challenges done tonight: Word Art Wednesday and Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

The only CTMH materials I used for this card were the border, Enjoy Life stamps and the Lilac Mist Ink. The rest was some old paper from my stash and the word art was printed on some cardstock I got at Walmart.

Kissing Technique with Cool Colors

This is my Mojo Monday card and I used the colors from ColourQ.

Materials used:
Paper: Colonial White, Grey Wool, Lagoon, Sweet Leaf, and Petal cardstock, Dotty for You
Stamps: Headline Alphabet, Backgrounds and Borders, Dreams Come True (for the leaves)
Ink: Petal, Sweet Leaf
Other: Just Blooms Paradise, Opaques

Florentine Butterfly Card

I hope my card wins!!!
Materials used:
Paper: Florentine Level 2 Paper Pack, Colonial White, Autumn Terracotta cardstock
Other: Florentine My Stickease, Indian Corn Blue Ribbon

Cookies!

The challenge for the Shabby Tea Room was to make a shaped card or project and follow the colors in the inspiration photo. I wanted to share some of my lactation cookies with a friend who's also lactating :) so I made this little heart box to put the cookies in.
The challenges for Heart 2 Heart and the Pink Elephant were both to use stripes and polka dots! So I used a piece of Dotty for You that had stripes on one side and polka dots on the other. :) That worked out!

Materials used:
Paper: Dotty for You, Hollyhock, Baby Pink, Sunny Yellow, Pear and White Daisy cardstock
Ink: Lagoon, Blush (for sponging)
Stamp: Enjoy!
Other: White daisy Grosgrain Ribbon, Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge, Dimensional Elements shapes

Vintage Circus Card

I loved the challenge over at A Day for Daisies. The vintage clowns are really neat! I used the free baby cow clown as my image. I have to admit, I didn't use much CTMH on this card. The paper, scallop, and the flower are from an old paper pack I had from DaisyDs.  The ribbon, Baker's Twine, Button, Markers, Stamps and Inks are from CTMH. The stamps are Art Philosophy. I used Chocolate ink for the stamps and for distressing. I used Chocolate, Buttercup, Olive, Pacifica, Black, and Cranberry markers. I also sponged around the cow using Sky ink. What do you think?

The challenge at a Day for Daisies was to add polka Dots. The sketch is from Card Patterns and I used the inspiration photo for the colors from Crazy4Challenges.
