Color Dare 251

Hi everybody! I was browsing through the beginning of the Color Dare Challenge blog and getting sentimental about crafting. I haven't done it in so long! So, I got a sketch from Atlantic Hearts and created this useless card (because it's been a full year since we moved to Alabama!). I still like it. Isn't it pretty? I had a tough time with the lemon in this combination, so I just used a touch of it.


I used Juniper, Black, White Daisy, and Sorbet cardstock. I used Juniper ribbon and gold Shimmer Trim. The stamp sets I used are Heartwarming Hello, and the sun is from Cityscape. I stamped the sun in Sunny Yellow, since I don't have the new Lemon color. I also used some black ink and ShinHan markers.

    This is such a pretty card and you have not lost your touch! This turned out beautifully! I think the touch of yellow in the sun is just the right amount and I love the gold glitter and green trim that you used! Thanks so much for playing along with us at AHSC! -Lori DT

    Super cute card, I love it! I love the little house and I really like how simple it is, there is beauty in the simple things and by not having to much going on it really shows off the colouring of the house and the small but impactful details.
