Hi! This week for 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown we have an embellishment challenge for you. You must use stitching on your card, whether real or faux. Also, it must be plainly visible. I used real and faux stitching on my card. I used white embroidery floss around the outside, and a Grey Flannel marker around the little circles.
The spin on the sketch at the Sweet Stop was to use doilies.
Materials used:
Cardstock: White Daisy
B&Ts: Wonderland (retired)
Stamps: Snowflakes
Ink: Heavenly Blue (retired), Twilight
Other: ribbon, lace, and doilies from my stash (not CTMH), Blue buttons, White Baker's Twine, White Embroidery Floss
What a striking card! Love the blue and white combo, the diamond background is a perfect foil for the intricate doily, and the stitching adds a great finish! Thanks so much for playing along with us at the Sweet Stop this week! Hugs, Ann

ReplyDeleteKudos to you for using real stitching along with the faux! :) The doily coordinates well with the snowflakes, and I really like those pretty shades of blue. Nicely done, Sarah!
